2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport Engine
There’s been a lot of buzz in the industry over the 2014 Cadillac CTS – hitting dealerships this fall. Many of them cover the obvious, which is the updated exterior of the vehicle and the new high-grade interior. While these are important factors, we are very interested in the new engine options as well.
Like the CTS model of the previous year, the new 2014 CTS will be offered with a 3.6-liter V6. This engine has been lauded for its combination of performance and efficiency. A newcomer to the CTS will also be the 2.0-liter Turbo four-cylinder that offers up to 272 horsepower. But while those two may have been expected, an engine option we were not all prepared for is the 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport engine. Coming later in the model year, the Cadillac CTS Vsport will provide a mind-numbing amount of performance.
The 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport engine will provide an output of 420 horsepower that will include a more than ample amount of torque. As the centerpiece of the ride, there will be a Twin Turbo engine that provides all of that performance and capability. And to handle all of it, the Vsport will be equipped with ZF steering and Magnetic Ride Control to help you keep the car under control.
Maybe best of all is the fact that the 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport engine is all controlled by you and your right foot. The Vsport has Active Torque Technology that puts you in full control of how much power you put into it.
While the 2014 Cadillac CTS Vsport engine may be impressive, most consumers are going to choose one of the more traditional versions of the CTS. If that is the case for you, then be among the first in the area to own the car by filling out the form on our vehicle information page.
